Weick
Custom Cases, Inc. has a long history of constructing custom-built
cases of the finest quality and providing unparalleled customer service
to original equipment manufacturers. The company was founded in 1895
by German immigrant, Martin Weick, as Martin Weick Case Company. Martin
Weick located the first case factory in Chicago. Due to substantial
growth in the early 1900's, a second factory was opened in Oregon,
Illinois in 1920.
The Depression of 1929 caused
the closing of the Oregon factory and the downsizing of the Chicago
factory, but the company survived. In 1932 Martin Weick & Sons was
formed in Chicago by Martin Weick and sons Irwin and Lawrence Sr.
Once again the company prospered and survived World War II. In 1950
Lawrence Jr. joined the company. Lawrence Jr. became president in
1975 and his son David Joined the company in 1983. In 1988 another
son, Craig, joined the company as did Lawrence Jr.'s wife Jacquolyn.
In 1993 a new manufacturing
facility was built on a four-acre site in Pocahontas, Arkansas. The
company relocated in September 1993 and the company name changed to
Weick Custom Cases, Inc. The company presently operates with Lawrence
Weick Jr. as president, David Weick as vice president, and Jacquolyn
Weick as secretary. To this day, Weick Custom Cases, Inc. is
still constructing custom-built cases of the finest quality and providing
unparalleled customer service that keeps clients coming back.
